Sessions

The pre-school organises its sessions so that the children can choose from a range of activities and, in doing so, build up their ability to select and work through a task to its completion. The children are also helped and encouraged to take part in adult-led small and large group activities which introduce them to new experiences and help them to gain new skills, as well as helping them to learn to work with others.


We offer a free flow system for both inside and outside play experiences, and have a covered outside area so that the children can play in the fresh air in all weathers.

Term Dates

Fee Structure from April 2023

Fee invoices will be emailed or given to parents prior to the start of each term. The invoice will state payment due dates, and we ask that all fees are kept up to date. Failure to pay the fees may result in your child losing their place at ABC so if you experience any difficulties, please speak to the manager.


Fees must still be paid if children are absent e.g. holidays, sickness.


Four weeks notice must be given if places are no longer required at ABC Pre-school. Fees are payable for this notice period regardless of whether your child attends the pre-school during this time.


Children wishing to stay all day at pre-school may do so providing that parents provide a named packed lunch or pre-order and pay for a hot school meal.

Notes:



  • Please drop off / collect your child at the agreed times – we staff our nursery / out of schools’ club according to the number of children we have booked.
  • Please let us know ASAP if you want to change collection times.
  • 4 weeks’ notice is needed to reduce changes to sessions / times
  • We are no longer able to offer a sibling discount

Funding

Government Nursery Funding is available for older children. This funding starts at the beginning of the term after the child’s 3rd birthday and is currently for up to five 3 hour sessions per week. In order to claim your child’s government funding on your behalf at the appropriate time, we need to keep a copy of their birth certificate. Please bring the birth certificate and a copy during the first week of pre-school to complete our records.

A Child Born Between Will Be Eligible For Funding From:
1st April to 31st August (inclusive) The start of the autumn term following their 3rd birthday (after summer holiday)
1st September to 31st December (inclusive) The start of the spring term following their 3rd birthday (after Christmas holiday)
1st January to 31st March (inclusive) The start of the summer term following their 3rd birthday (after spring holiday)

In addition to the above, we also offer the additional 15 Hours Free entitlement (Taking entitlement to 30 hours) for eligible parents. Please see a member of staff for more details.
