Our Curriculum
ABC Pre-school follows the revised Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
For each area of learning the Early Years Foundation Stage sets out early learning goals. These goals state what is expected that a child will know and be able to do by the end of the reception year of their education.
There are 3 Prime Areas of Learning

Literacy

Learning & Development
We use an online learning journal system which parents / carers are able to access via an app or online.
The learning journey will show your child’s experiences at nursery. You will be given a personal log on to our online system so that you can access your child’s learning journey at any time.
We encourage parents to participate in their child’s learning through use of a parent page that forms part of the learning journey.
Special Educational Needs
As part of the pre-school's policy to make sure that its provision meets the needs of each individual child, we take account of any special needs which a child may have.
The pre-school works to the requirements of the Education Act 1996 and The Special Educational Needs and Disability code of practice 2014. The pre-school has a designated SEND Co-ordinator.
